Her academic journey began at the University of Georgia, where she earned a Bachelor’s degree in Genetics. During her time there, she demonstrated exceptional leadership by founding the Minority Science Student Association, showcasing her commitment to promoting diversity in the sciences.

She completed her medical degree and residency at the esteemed Morehouse School of Medicine, gaining invaluable experience in serving underprivileged communities. Her training at Grady Memorial Hospital further solidified her commitment to addressing healthcare disparities.
Outside of her professional life, Anquilla finds joy in her family life as a married individual. She relishes the company of friends and loves exploring new culinary experiences in restaurants. But at heart, she cherishes the simple pleasures of relaxing at home with her family.
